An AI Operation is defined as:

  • The extraction of a single custom field
  • From a single contract

Examples:

  • Extracting “Cap on liability” from 100 contracts = 100 AI Operations
  • Extracting “Termination for Convenience” from those same 100 contracts = an additional 100 AI Operations

Important distinction:
AI Operations apply specifically to custom fields extracted from contracts already in your repository.

They are separate from:

  • Standard fields defined prior to uploading contracts
  • Ongoing use of the Chamelio Agent for drafting, review, or analysis

Key idea:
Core turns static documents into a system your team can query, analyze, and rely on.
